Tree Painting 1

This is the first of a series I will be doing. My focus for this series is trees and foliage. I started these with pen on paper. I will be doing the color and backgrounds in Photoshop.

Dark Lake

This ones title has nothing to do with the piece. Thought of it for a little story I am making. The lighting in this piece was fun as well, and I tried to keep the whole thing two-toned.

I was going for an icy cave entrance. I had only tried to paint snow once before, and I wanted to try again. I had fun revisiting this color pallet and playing with the lighting.
